I’m Erica Jones, the Outreach data specialist at We Think 4 a Change. I’m a mother of 3 children and 1 adult and a community health worker.
I joined the team in June of 2022, at the rollout of our at-home HIV test kits campaign.
Throughout the campaign we’ve provided access to testing and information on prevention and treatment to some of the most underserved communities in Greater Cleveland.
These test kits allow people privacy when testing and avoid a ‘needle prick’, which can be a deterrent to knowing their status.
We’ve held STI information sessions at a number of High Schools helping to break the stigma. We are committed to finding service gaps in the city and filling them.
I’m so proud of the work we have done and continue to do, helping to create equity in H.I.V. Testing and treatment in an effort to end the HIV epidemic.
